Kumamoto YMCA Language School

Kumamoto is located in the center of the Southern island of Kyushu. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and the ocean, it is a wonderful place to live in Japan.

The Kumamoto YMCA provides diverse services, among which Japanese language courses.

Course A: Long-term/Preparatory course

Perfect for those who intend to enter a Japanese university, this course also includes various activities to familiarize yourself with Japanese culture, but also practicing interview skills, EJU preparation.

Duration: 1.5 to 2 years

Enrollment: April or October

Classes: Monday through Friday, 5 x 45 minute classes each day

All levels accepted

Course B: Short-term course

It is a flexible course, for those who want to study Japanese at a more leisurely pace. Class starts at 10am each day, numerous off-campus activities are included.

Duration: 3 months (possibility to adjust to student’s request)

Enrollment: April/July/October/January

Classes: Monday through Friday, 3 x 50 minute classes each day
